The money we spend each day on Cigarettes

each day people on the street in Egypt talk about how disgusting it has become to live here, there are many reasons for their disgust but non of them seem acceptable. People talk about how nothing in the country is proper, i mean nothing is good whether it be medical care, education, transportation but that's not it at all those are the major things what about the small things non of the roads are paved properly, food joints are not properly supervised , health inspections are the worst in the world.
The point here i am trying to reach is that we can't always blame the government for what we have become, the government is a part of us they are your fathers,uncles,brothers they are from us and we are from them, if we blame them for everything then we blame our selves too so why don't we stand up and take action, in no means do encourage anything stupid or flamboyant all i am saying is that we set an example and i am sure it will be looked at with admiration.
Here is an idea that has been brewing in my head for quite sometime lets say that the Egyptian population is 90M citizens(rough estimate, some people say we are over the 100 now) if we say that about 50% of the population smokes(i think more than that does) and they smoke an average of 1 pack of smokes daily and they smoke Cleopatra(cheapest brand of smokes) that means that
45*10^6 * 2.5 = 281250000 Egyptian pounds we burn each day
NOW COULDN'T THAT MONEY HAVE BEEN USED IN SOMETHING USEFUL!!!

anyway before you buy your next pack think about it maybe skip smoking for a day and donate that money to the Cancer Hospital in AL Sayida Zeinab.
